Why does Lord Ganesha get angry by offering Tulsi? Know the reason

Wednesday is dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
Worshiping Lord Ganesha on this day fulfills all desires. The worship of Lord Ganesha is first in Hinduism. Lord Ganesha is worshiped before performing any auspicious works. Lord Ganesha takes away all the sufferings of his devotees, hence he is also known as Vighnaharta.

But do you know that it is considered taboo to use Tulsi in the worship of Lord Ganesha. It is believed that the use of Tulsi in the worship of Ganesha makes God angry.

According to the legend, Tulsi, the daughter of King Dharmatmaj, embarked on a pilgrimage for the desire of marriage. During the pilgrimage, Tulsi saw that Ganesh ji is doing penance on Ganga Kinar. According to the legend, Lord Ganesha was dissolved in penance. His body was covered with sandalwood. There was a garland of gems around the neck. The silk was wrapped in a waistcoat. He was doing penance sitting on a throne. Tulsi was fascinated by seeing the beautiful form of Lord Ganesha. Expressing his desire to marry her, he broke his austerity. Lord Ganesha became enraged by this and described this work of Tulsi as inauspicious. Knowing Tulsi's intention, he said that I am Brahmachari. Their marriage proposal was turned down.

Hearing this, Tulsi was furious and cursed Lord Ganesha that you will get married not one or two. On this, Lord Ganesha cursed him that you will be married to a demon. Hearing this, Tulsi apologized to Ganesha. After this, Ganesh ji said, because of being dear to Lord Vishnu and Krishna, worshiping you in Kalyug will be a blessing. But offering you in my worship would be considered inauspicious. After this, offering Tulsi in the worship of Lord Ganesha is considered taboo.
