Weekend Lockdown Announced In Uttar Pradesh, Night Curfew Rules Also Changed

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Will Not Face Complete Lockdown At Present. The Uttar Pradesh Government Has Also Taken Tough Measures To Break The Corona's Uncontrollable Pace. The Yogi Government Of Uttar Pradesh Has Announced To Put A Weekend Lockdown In The State At Present. Earlier, The Uttar Pradesh Government Announced The Lockdown On One Day I.E. On Sunday, But Now It Has Been Included On Saturday As Well. That Is, There Will Be A Lockout For Two Days On Saturday And Sunday In The Whole State. On The Other Hand, The Allahabad High Court's Decision To Lockdown In 5 Cities Has Been Rejected By The Supreme Court On Tuesday. 

That Is, There Will Be A Complete Weekend Lockdown In UP From Eight O'clock On Friday Night To Seven In The Morning. Apart From This, The Night Curfew Will Also Be Applicable In The Entire State From Today. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Gave These Instructions In A Meeting With Team XI. Till Now The Night Curfew Was Applicable Only In Those Districts Where The Situation Was Worse But The Government Has Decided To Impose Lockdown For Two Days In View Of The Ever Increasing Number Of Corona Infected. 

Awasthi Of UP's Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department Avnish Told That The Weekend Lockdown Will Be Implemented In UP On Saturday And Sunday. Only Essential Services Will Be Allowed. Night Curfew Will Be Imposed In All Districts. 

Excessive Exit In Uttar Pradesh Will Be Prohibited During Weekend Lockdown, While Only Those Connected To The Required Area Will Be Allowed To Exit. Apart From This, People Related To Corona Vaccination, Medical Field Will Also Be Exempted.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has stayed the Allahabad High Court's decision, in which the High Court had ordered the lockdown in five cities of UP by 26 April. The Supreme Court on Tuesday imposed an interim stay on the order of the Allahabad High Court to impose stringent restrictions in five cities of Uttar Pradesh by April 26 in view of the rapid increase in Kovid-19 cases.
