MI vs RCB IPL 2021: Bangalore beat Mumbai on the final ball in a very heartbreaking match


With the help of AB de Villiers' thunderous batting, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Mumbai Indians by two wickets in a thrilling match. 
With this, Virat Kohli's team has made a victorious start to the 14th season of the IPL T20 cricket tournament. Mumbai set a target of 160 against Bangalore. The Mumbai bowlers performed brilliantly but failed to stem the tide of de Villiers. However, the match was going to be exciting till the final ball. Bangalore won the match on the final ball. Mumbai scored 159 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs in reply Bangalore won the match by 160 for 8 in 20 overs. De Villiers hit 48 off 27 balls with four fours and two sixes and was run out in the final over.

Cricket fans were surprised to see the opening pair of Kohli and Sundar in Bangalore to reach the target of 160 runs in such an opening . Captain Virat Kohli came in the opening. However, Kohli had earlier said that he would open the IPL-2021. But the surprise was that his fellow opener Washington was beautiful and he took the strike. The pair put on a 36-run partnership in 4.2 overs. Beautiful was out for 10 runs.

Kohli and Maxwell's aggressive batting
After a beautiful dismissal, Rajat Patidar was dismissed for just 8 runs. Kohli and Glenn Maxwell then batted aggressively. He had a 52-run partnership. But with both the batsmen getting out in the near future, Bangalore's troubles increased. Kohli was bowled by Bumrah for 33 off 29 balls with four fours while Maxwell hit 39 off 28 balls with three fours and two sixes.

Rohit runs out after a great start
The pair of captain Rohit Sharma and Chris Lynn came into the opening after Royal Challengers Bangalore invited them to bat first. The pair gave the team an aggressive start. However, Bangalore was relieved before the pair became more dangerous. Mumbai were hit hard from the start when Rohit Sharma was run out. Rohit Sharma scored 19 off 15 balls with one four and one six. He shared a 24-run partnership with Lynn.

Lynn missed half a century, Suryakumar's stormy batting
After Rohit's dismissal, Chris Lee took over and was accompanied by Suryakumar Yadav. The duo breathed a sigh of relief to the Bangalore bowlers and kept the scoreboard spinning by batting immediately. Suryakumar was dismissed for 31 off 23 balls with four fours and a six. While Lynn missed his half-century for a run. He hit 49 off 35 balls, including four fours and three sixes. Suryakumar and Lee combined for 70 for the second wicket.

Ishaan and Hardik's useful contribution, Hershal Patel's outburst
Ishaan Kishan and Hardik Pandya made important contributions in the final overs by batting fast. Ishant Kish hit 28 off 19 balls, including two fours and a six. While Hardik Pandya scored 13 off 10 balls. However, in the final over of Mumbai's innings, Hershal Patel was quick for three wickets. Mumbai lost a total of four wickets in this over. Hershel Patel was quick for five wickets for 27 runs in four overs while Kyle Jamieson and Washington Sundar had one-on-one success.
