Maharashtra Corona Update: 47,288 new cases and 155 deaths in last 24 hours, Maharashtra is world's biggest hotspot of corona infection

In Maharashtra, the cases of corona infection (Maharashtra Corona Update) are continuously increasing. In the last 24 hours, a total of 47,288 new cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra and 155 people have lost their lives due to this infection. According to statistics, Maharashtra is now becoming the world's largest infection hotspot. Maharashtra is at the top in the case of infected patients all over the world and now only behind France in cases of new infections. The number of active cases in the state has now increased to 4,51,375.

Let us know that there has been a decrease in new cases of corona infection on Monday as compared to Sunday. On Sunday, the number of new cases in the state was 57 thousand while 222 patients also died. Maharashtra government has implemented weekend lockdown till April 30 to deal with the corona, besides the night curfew is also continuing. In Maharashtra, a strict lockdown will be in force every week from 8 pm Friday to 7 am Monday. Apart from this, restrictions like masks, social distancing will be strictly enforced in the day, and severe penalties will also be imposed for violations. Now food is not allowed to sit in restaurants in the state, however, customers will be able to pack food and take it.

Things are bad in Mumbai as well

On Monday, 9,857 new cases have been reported in Mumbai, while 3,357 infected people have recovered and returned home. The total number of active cases in Mumbai is now 74,522. On the other hand, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has written a letter to PM Modi requesting permission to vaccinate people above 25 years of age. There are also reports from Mumbai and many other areas of the state that migrant laborers have started returning to homes due to the fear of lockdown.

To overcome the corona, the state government has implemented new guidelines, after which apprehensions are being expressed about the lockdown. Explain that the state government has not imposed a complete lockdown, but the workers fear that rail services and other transport services may be shut down, after which it will be difficult for them to return home.
