According to the report released by the Ministry of Health, 2,59,170 new cases of corona have been reported in India in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of positive cases has increased to 1,53,21,089. 
At the same time, after 1,761 new deaths, the total number of deaths has reached 1,80,530. According to the report, about 1,54,761 people have been cured of this disease in the last 24 hours. A day earlier, the country had recorded 2,61,500 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours while 1,501 people had died.

On the other hand, in view of the increasing speed of the virus, the Center has accelerated the vaccination campaign, allowing all people above 18 years of age to take the vaccine from 1 May. Till now the age of vaccination was 45 years. With this decision, the government has also allowed states, private hospitals to buy supplements directly from vaccine manufacturers. According to the information given by the Union Ministry of Health (Union Health Ministy), 12.69 crore doses of Covid-19 (Covid-19) vaccines have been given so far throughout the country.

65 percent of active cases in five states

According to the Union Health Ministry, five states Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala account for 65.02 percent of the total active cases of India. At the same time, in view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Maharashtra government has made it mandatory to show the Corona Negative Report to those coming to Maharashtra from the states declared as Corona Sensitive Areas (states Goa, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand and Kerala). .

Lockdown in Delhi

In Maharashtra, a night curfew has been imposed to deal with the corona. But even then, if the situation does not improve, then the state government can take a decision on the complete lockdown in the next two days. It is known that in view of the outbreak of Coronavirus in the national capital Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced a six-day lockdown. This lockdown has been applied for 6 days. In fact, the capital Delhi is included in those states where the cases of corona are increasing the fastest. According to the data released on Monday, there have been 23,500 cases in Delhi in the last 24 hours.
