Only one percent of the earth's water is potable
Please tell that about three fourth of the earth is filled with water. But only three percent of it is potable. Two percent of the three percent is in the form of ice and glacier. In such a situation, only one percent water is fit for the animal to drink.

All environmental experts believe that nature has suffered a lot due to indiscriminate construction in the name of development. Every year 22 March is celebrated as World Water Day to prevent wastage of water, explain its importance and provide clean water to the people. World Water Day was initiated in 1992 during the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development held in Rio de Janeiro. After this, World Water Day was celebrated for the first time on 22 March 1993.
