After almost two years of waiting and rumors, it has almost been confirmed that we are unlikely to see Poco F2. Instead, the smartphone maker is planning to re-introduce the recently launched Redmi K40 and launch it as POCO F3 in the global market. This decision has been suggested by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The document shows a glimpse of a phone with model number M2012K11AG, which is estimated to be Redmi K40. The phone has also been seen on the IMEI database, which means that the new smartphone has not yet been launched in India.
According to the FCC listing, the smartphone with model number M2012K11AG has been spotted with the Poco F3 moniker. The same model number was also seen on the IMDA listing. According to the listing, the smartphone has been prepared to come with 5G connectivity, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. As both listings have the same model number, it is more likely that Xiaomi's Redmi K40 has been rebranded as the Poco F3. Although the launch date of the new smartphone has not been revealed yet.
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K40 series in China on 25 February. The company has launched three phones under the Redmi K40 series, including Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro +. With this, the phone with model number M2012K11AG will come with 5G support. This is not the first time Xiaomi has rebranded its phone. The popular Poco M2 Pro is also rebranded to the Redmi Now 9 Pro.

The POCO F3 can feature 6.67-inch full-HD + features with 1080 × 2–400 pixel resolution. It can also come with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Talking about the camera, a quad-camera setup can be given in POCO F3. It will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel secondary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. A 20-megapixel sensor will be available for the selfie.
For connectivity, the Redmi K40 includes support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR) and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone has a 4,520mAh battery that can be provided with support for 33W fast charging.
POCO F3 Price
The price of POCO F3 has not been revealed at the moment, but speaking of Redmi K40, this phone was launched in China for CNY 1,999 (about Rs 22,400) for 6GB + 128GB model. For the 8GB + 128GB variant, the smartphone is priced at CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 24,700) and for the 8GB + 256GB variant, the phone is priced at CNY 2,499 (about Rs. 28,000). The top 12GB + 256GB version of the model is priced at CNY 2,699 (about Rs 30,000).
