Pakistan is the world's second most polluted country say iqair report

In Kangal Pakistan (Pakistan) the public is not only suffering from inflation and unemployment, but is also being forced to breathe in 'poisonous air'.
IQAir Global Air Quality report states that Pakistan is the second most polluted country in the world. According to Pakistani news agency Sama TV, last year the level of PM 2.5 in Pakistan was five times higher than the air quality level reported by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Particulate matter in Pakistan is 59, which is in the unhealthy category. This is five times higher than the 10 meter per cube level indicated by the WHO. According to the 'World Air Quality Report 2020', the recorded air quality in Pakistan is of very poor level. Many big cities of the country are producing huge amounts of smoke, mist and deadly smog, which are engaged in contaminating the clean air. The cleanest city of Pakistan is the capital Islamabad, where AQI is 110.

20 percent of deaths are related to air pollution

According to Sama TV's report, the most polluted city in the country is Lahore in Punjab province, where AQI 163 has been. Overall Lahore is the 18th most polluted city in the world. IQAir said that 20 percent of deaths in Pakistan are related to air pollution. Experts say that the polluted air of the country can be fatal for people with asthma and as a result disease can develop even in healthy children.

Due to these reasons, pollution in Pakistan

Some major things are responsible for air pollution in Pakistan. There is smoke coming out of the vehicles and dust spreading on the roads. While water is sprayed to remove dust on the roads in India, there is no such system in Pakistan. On the other hand, poisonous smoke emanating from factories and burning of fields also produces a large amount of poisonous smoke in Pakistan, which is causing the death of people.

Corona deaths also related to air pollution

However, due to the coronavirus epidemic, there has been some improvement in the air. But it does not seem to benefit much. Another study reported that seven to 33 percent of the deaths from corona worldwide have been caused by people living ill due to air pollution for a long time. If the air quality had been improved, the number of dead could have declined.
