According to the scriptures, Lord Shiva should be anointed with Ganga water and milk on the day of Mahashivaratri. By doing this, Bholenath becomes very happy. 4. ॐ By chanting the Parvatipataye Namah Mantra, the person gets the blessings of Lord Bholenath as well as Goddess Parvati. It also removes the problems in the marriage.
5. To get children, on the day of Mahashivaratri, anoint the Shivling with milk. Along with Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati, worship Lord Ganesha and Karthik as well. This makes the sum of child happiness strong.
