In Madhya Pradesh, the administration has become strict about the increasing cases of corona. With the intention of preventing infection in this episode, the state home ministry has ordered a one-day lockdown every Sunday in Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur until further orders. Orders have been issued to close all schools and colleges in these cities till 31 March. These decisions have been taken in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
According to the order, there will be a lockdown in Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur from 10 am to 6 pm on Monday. Necessary services and industries will remain operational during lockdown. On Sunday, permission will have to be taken from the administration to organize social function during lockdown in Indore Bhopal and Jabalpur.
There has been an increase in the cases of corona across the country. Shivraj Singh Chauhan had called a high level meeting on the growing cases of corona in the new state. These steps have been taken in this meeting itself. The Chief Secretary of the state and all officers of the Health Department were present in the meeting.
Shivraj appeals to wear masks and social distancing
After the meeting, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that corona cases are increasing in the state. In such a situation, he has appealed to the people of the state to put on regular masks, observe social distancing, do not gather crowds and contribute to prevent corona infection.
Corona cases have also increased in Madhya Pradesh. During the last 24 hours, 1140 new cases of corona infection have been registered in Madhya Pradesh. During this time 7 people have also died due to corona. However, during this period 556 people were discharged after getting healthy. So far 2,73,097 people have been infected with corona in Madhya Pradesh and 3901 people have died due to infection. At present, 6609 cases are active.
