It is believed that Hiranyakashyap had tortured his son for eight days for the purpose of killing his son, but Lord Vishnu had such grace that he was saved every time. On the eighth day, Prahlada's aunt Holika was sitting in the fire with Prahlada on her lap.
Holika had the blessing of not burning with fire. But by the grace of Lord Vishnu Prahlada's life was saved again and Holika died. Since then, every year, eight days before Holi, no auspicious work is done at the time of Holashtak. But Holika Dahan celebrates the victory of good over evil. However, this time is a special time to worship Lord Vishnu.

Holi will be very special this time. After 499 years, very rare yoga is going to happen on the occasion of Holi.
