 Indian cricket team's star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin made another name for himself on Saturday, the third day of the fourth and final Test against England. In the fourth Test played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India won by an innings and 25 runs. With this, India won the four-Test series 3-1. Ashwin is 30 wickets faster in the four-match series. He also became the first Indian bowler to take 30 or more wickets in two different series.

Ashwin is 32 wickets faster in the four-Test series against England. In which five or more wickets in three innings were fast. Earlier, Ashwin took 31 wickets in a four-Test series against South Africa in 2015. Earlier, Bishan Singh Bedi, Harbhajan Singh, BS Chandrasekhar, Kapil Dev have taken 30 or more wickets in a series.

In the third Test of the series against England, Ashwin picked up his 400th wicket in Test cricket by dismissing Joffra Archer in the second innings. Ashwin became the fourth Indian bowler to take 400 or more wickets in a Test. In the fourth Test, Ashwin took three wickets in the first innings and five in the second innings for a total of eight wickets.
