During this time, his plow collided with a metal and got stuck. At that place, King Janak received an urn which had a smiling beautiful girl.
King Janak had no children, so he accepted that girl as his daughter and named her Sita. It is clear from this episode that Raja Janak was not Sita's real father. According to the wonderful Ramayana, when Lankapati Ravana was meditating for the right of the three worlds in Tretayuga, the whole world started burning due to the sharpness generated by his tenacity. Concerned with this, all the gods reached Brahma and prayed for him to save the world.
Then Brahmaji reached Ravana and asked him to ask for the bride. Ravana said, give me the boon of being immortal. Brahmaji expressed his inability to grant the boon of immortality. After this Ravan said that give me such a boon so that no one can kill me, Sur, Asura, Vampire, Snake, Kinnar or Apsara.
Ravana said, when I am enamored of my own girl by ignorance, then I die. After giving this boon to Ravana, Brahmaji went to Brahmaloka. Ravana did not ask for the boon of not being killed by humans in his boon, because he did not consider humans as anything.
After getting a boon from Brahma ji, Ravana started thinking of himself as almighty. One day he went to Dandakaranya. There used to live sage-monk. Ravana did not think it right to kill those sages, he said, O sages! I hope you win After this, the soldiers of Ravana took a kamandal from the ashram and extracted blood from the body of the sages by placing an arrow, this blood was kept in that kamandal and handed to Ravana.
That kamandal belonged to the sage Gatsamad, who was the father of hundred sons. He had a longing for a daughter. He had prayed to Goddess Lakshmi to be born as a daughter to her home. Wishing to get the daughter, Gritsamad Rishi cursed the milk and placed it in a kamandal. In this urn, Ravana filled the blood of the sages.
Ravana went towards Lanka with this kamandal. After reaching Lanka, he gave the kamandal to his wife Mandodari and said that poisonous blood is filled in this kamandal. Take care of it.
After this, the terror of Ravana started increasing continuously. He kidnapped the girls of demons, Yakshas, Gandharvas and lived in the forests of Mandarachal, Himwan and Meru. Mandodari did not like all this and one day he thought of abandoning such a life and drank poisonous blood kept in the kamandal.
Mandodari's pregnancy was halted by the effect of milk stimulated in that kamandal. In such a situation, he felt that Ravana was not here for many years. If she had a child, the women of the palace would speak ill of her character. Fearing this, Mandodari came to Kurukshetra by plane to talk about pilgrimage. There, she gave birth to a girl and placed it in an urn and buried it in the ground.
After some time King Janak got this girl during the excavation. Since Ravana had no idea that he also had a daughter, he ignorantly became fascinated with his own daughter, Sita, and this mistake led to her death and Sita's husband Shriram was born and killed in human form. . It is clear from this story of the wonderful Ramayana that Sita's mother was Madodari. Being the husband of Mandodari, Ravana became the father of Sita. However, some people believe Sita's father Gritsamad Rishi, because he was the one who kept the milk in the kamandal by cursing it.
