On Wednesday, militants launched an attack in Sonwar area of Srinagar (Srinagar). The son of the owner of a popular vegetarian restaurant in Srinagar was injured on Wednesday after being shot by unknown gunmen. Police have arrested three terrorists in this case. These terrorists carried out the incident on Wednesday evening.
The police said that the attack was done at a time when a group of foreign diplomats are visiting the Kashmir Valley. Police sources said the gunmen opened fire on Akash Mehra, the owner of Krishna Dhaba, in the high-security Sonwar area of the city. The police has arrested three people in the case.
The IGP said that parents of two terrorists living in Srinagar have been contacted and they admitted that one of the two left the motorcycle at home and went out of the house in a hurry. After this, he and one of his companions were also arrested. After this, everyone confessed his crime.
