Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced the launch date of the Mi 10i. Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain himself shared a video saying that the Mi 10i will be launched in India on January 5.
The Xiaomi Mi 10i will have a 108-megapixel primary rear camera. According to Xiaomi, the company will have a new flagship smartphone, called the Mi 10i.
According to Manu Kumar Jain, the Mi 10i will be an extension of the company's other flagship smartphones Mi 10, Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro. The Mi 10 Lite has not been launched in India so this phone will also be seen as an extension of the global variant.
According to Xiaomi, the i placed on the back of the Mi 10 means India. The company says that the smartphone is made in India and has been customized by the Indian product team. Notably, the Mi 10i is being touted as a tweak variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G which was recently launched in China.
The company has made it clear that there will be a big change in the camera. The smartphone will be given a primary camera of 108 megapixels. The phone can offer 8GB of RAM and the company is expected to replace the flagship processor with a mid-range processor. The Mi 10i can be launched in India with two storage variants. According to the report, the Xiaomi Mi 10i will be offered in Blue, Black and Orange.
