Thandava trailer Machavi Dhoom

The thrilling 3 minute trailer with over 25 million views has captivated viewers. Saif will be seen in a character never seen before in Ali Abbas Zafar's Creation Thandav. Currently she has shared some interesting stories about her character in the show and during the shooting.

Saif likes Sanskrit language

Saif Ali Khan says, “I think when you do something for a particular character and prepare, it has different effects. My character is a politician who speaks a lot in public and so there were a lot of Sanskrit Hindi speeches, which had to be prepared for the summer character. The reality is that I love speaking Sanskrit. Sometimes we enjoyed light moments while shooting a lot. I had to give about 4 Sanskrit speeches a day in this show. So I have learned a lot of heavy lines.

What Saif said about his character

Saif says about playing the gray shaded character in the show, I have played some roles with the gray shaded characters and I have enjoyed it a lot. I find such characters more interesting and experimental. I'm glad I was able to play Samir's vulnerable, aggressive, authoritarian and candid character. This is like dividing your energy into different parts. Also, I don't think it's dangerous to play the role of a politician. Thandava is a fictional story.

Produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Ali Abbas Zafar, the 9-episode political drama features Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Dino Morea, Kumud Mishra, Gauhar Khan, Amayara Dastur, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub, Krish Sandhya Mridul, Anup Soni, Hiten Tejwani, Paresh Pahuja, Shonali Nagrani etc.
