Ravindra Jadeja also dropped out of the first two Tests against England, will be injected tomorrow if needed

After completing the tour of Australia, the Indian team will play a Test series against England at home.
However, even before the Test series against England, the Indian team has suffered a major setback. In fact, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who was injured in the third Test against Australia in Sydney, has been ruled out of the fourth Test against Australia as well as the first two Tests against England. According to a report, he could take an injection on the fifth day of the third Test against Australia tomorrow.

Injury occurred while batting against Starc

During the first innings of the third Test , fast bowler Mitchell Starc bowled Jadeja's left toe. The scan revealed a fracture on the toe of the left hand. He could not even bowl in the second innings due to injury.

Jadeja will miss the 2nd Test in Chennai

A BCCI source said, "Ravindra Jadeja has also been ruled out of the first two Tests against England. It can take up to 4-6 weeks for Jadeja to fully recover. However, if need be, he will be injected and batted on the fifth day of the third Test against Australia. The all-rounder made an important contribution to the team by scoring an unbeaten 28 after taking 4 wickets in the first innings. On the final day of the Sydney Test, he will take injections and bat if needed. The first two Tests against England will be played in Chennai. In which Jadeja cannot play. But Jadeja could make a comeback with the third and day-night Test at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. This will be the first international match against England since Motera was redeveloped as the largest stadium in the world.

Pant to bat: Ashwin

"Rishabh Pant, who is facing an elbow injury, will bat in the second innings," said senior Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin. Pant was injured while batting on the third day of the match. Pat Cummins' ball hit him in the elbow. He was taken for a scan and his injuries were not serious.
