The Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) has made a big announcement regarding corona vaccine in the country. DCGI has given final approval to the emergency use of Serum Institute's vaccine Covishield and Bharat Biotech's vaccine Covishield. Both of these corona vaccines can now be administered to the general public after approval from DCGI. Now Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the entire country on this success of scientists.

Adar Poonawal, CEO of Serum Institute of India, has expressed happiness over the approval of Corona vaccine. He tweeted, "Happy New Year to all!" All the risks that were taken to stockpile the Serum Institute vaccine have ultimately yielded the best results. India's first Covid-19 vaccine will be on its way until next week. This is completely safe and effective.
Will give 2-2 doses of vaccine during vaccination
It may be mentioned here that the Comptroller General of Drugs of India told a press conference that the Covidshield vaccine of Serum Institute of India (SII) and Covexin of Bharat Biotech have been approved for emergency in the country. The Serum Institute is building the Kovishield in collaboration with Oxford University. DCGI has informed that covishield and covacin are completely safe. 2-2 doses of this vaccine will be given during vaccination. So the third phase of the Cadillac Healthcare vaccine clinical trial has been approved.
