If your account is also in these two Banks, then you must read this news first, otherwise you will get into trouble

This news is special for you if your bank account is in Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank.
Yes I The IFSC codes of these two banks are going to change from 1st March. If you remember, these banks have been merged into Bank of Baroda.

If your account is in one of these banks, a change in account number, passbook and check will also work. The change in the IFSC code will affect about three lakh account holders. However, you don’t have to worry immediately. Now, the IFSC codes of these branches can be used till the last day of February. The bank has informed every customer about this. The bank has been working to send SMS to customers.

Bank of Baroda merged

Let me tell you here that Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank were merged with Bank of Baroda a few months back. Speaking of Gorakhpur region, these banks have about 17 branches in seven districts where hundreds of people have accounts. These branches work on software called Phenykal-7. Following the merger of Bank of Baroda, work on Phenykal-10 will start in these banks.

Message Information: Bank of Baroda officials are actively involved in changing the IFSC code of Vijaya and Dena Bank branches. The bank has also sent SMS information to all the account holders of these branches. Many account holders have this information but there are also some account holders who do not pay attention to messages in mobile. Such customers may face trouble after February.

Old IFSC code works until 28 February

The IFSC code of Vijaya and Dena Bank branches located in different districts of Bank of Baroda will be changed from March 1, Bank of Baroda said. Account holders of these branches will have to provide information about the new IFSC code to their paying institutions. If they do not, they will be in trouble. The old IFSC code will work till the last day of February i.e. 28th February.
