Google Maps lets you track the location of your smartphone in the form of a timeline. You will need another smartphone or PC for that. You will also need an internet connection.
Here's how to find a smartphone's location with Google Maps
- Open www.maps.google.co.in on a smartphone or PC.
- Login to Google account linked with your lost phone.
- Tap on the corner on the top right side.
- Click on the 'Your Timeline' option.
- Enter the location of the day, date and month you want to know here.
- The location history of the device will be seen on the maps along with the current location.
- Note that in order to use this feature, it is necessary that your phone is on and location service is also on.
