Big news: Modi government will issue Rs 125 coin tomorrow, find out what it will look like and what is the reason


The government 
will announce Rs 
125 coins on the birthday of leader Subhash Chandra Bose January 23 is the birthday of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the founder of the Azad Hind Fauz. The government will issue the coin keeping in view the same opportunity. However, a Rs 125 coin has been issued before.

Indian Railways also renamed the Howrah-Kalka Melan as 'Netaji Express' on Netaji's 125th birth anniversary. Earlier, on October 29, 2019, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman issued a Rs 125 commemorative coin on the 125th birth anniversary of the famous Yogi and Yogoda Satsang Society of India as well as the founder of Self-Realization Fellowship, Paramahansa Yogananda. Paramahansa Yogananda is known as the father of yoga in western countries.

125 rupee coin on Netaji's 125th birthday

The back of the coin will have a picture of Netaji. Above it may have been written in Hindi the year of the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The year 2021 will be marked as '125TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY YEAR OF NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE'

How will both sides of the coin be

The front of the coin will have a figure of Ashoka pillar in the middle. Satyamev Jayate may have written below this figure. India will be inscribed in Devanagari on the left circumference and INDIA in English on the right circumference. At the very bottom of the Ashoka Pillar, the value of the coin will be written in digits with the symbol of rupee i.e. 125.

What would a 125 rupee coin look like?

The Rs 125 coin will be round in shape. The outside shape will be 44 millimeters. It will have 200 stripes on the shore. This coin is made up of 4 metals. It will contain 50 per cent silver, 40 per cent copper, 5 per cent nickel and 5 per cent zinc. The coin will weigh 35 grams.

125 rupee coin will be introduced on 'Parakram Diwas'
