Army personnel arrive in Kashmir as god, take pregnant woman to hospital amid scattered snow

Due to the current snowfall, the Kashmir Valley is covered with a white sheet of snow.
It has been snowing here continuously for several days. Roads and homes in several cities, including Srinagar and Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir, have been frozen for several inches. Roads are also invisible due to snow cover. Many roads are closed. In such a situation, it is also difficult to reach the hospital. A similar case was reported from Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Ahmed Sheikh's wife Shabnam Begum was rushed to hospital after she suddenly went into labor on January 5 at around 11 pm in Farkian village of Kupwada's COB Karalpura. However, due to continuous snowfall and bad weather at this place, it was suspended at nearby health centers and transport service. This was to be the case until the snow cleared here.

Seeing the seriousness of the situation and the plight of the family, the Army personnel deployed at Karalpura reached the spot on time with support and medical facilities on the battlefield. Troops carried the woman and her family on their heads for about 2 km. As soon as he reached the hospital, the medical staff started treating him. The army had earlier sought permission for civil entry here.

The woman gave birth to a son after arriving at the hospital at the right time. To his delight, his father also distributed sweets to the soldiers. He also thanked them for their efforts and saluted the performance of the Indian Army.
