The Life Insurance Corporation of India ( LIC ), the country 's largest government insurer , has launched a special facility for its insured during the Koro epidemic. With the launch of this facility, policyholders will now be able to transfer ULIP policy funds to other policies through the online portal. A statement from LIC said the facility would be available only to policyholders who have registered with LIC's Premier Services.
LIC's online fund transfer facility starting December 7
According to LIC, the facility has been launched from December 7. This will apply to LIC's New Endowment Plus (Plan 935), Investment Plus (Plan 849) and SIP (SIIP Plan 852). At the same time, LIC has clarified that no charge will be levied for switching funds online. With this, you will get the facility of one fund switch on one policy in one day. This process will be accomplished through one time password i.e. OTP based authentication system.
Call Center launched in regional languages
The country's largest insurance company has also recently launched a multilingual call center. Help will be available in Marathi, Tamil and Bengali at this call center. The company plans to connect regional languages in the coming days and regional languages. It may be mentioned that earlier, till September 2018, the call center facility was available only in English and Hindi.
The policyholder will get answers to all the questions on the chatbot
