This rule of post office will change from December 12, get it done by tomorrow, if necessary work, otherwise it will have to be charged

If you have an account in the Post Office, then this news is for you.
From December 12, a new post office rule has come into force. If you have zero balance in your account, then put minimum 500 rupees in your account by tomorrow, otherwise you will have to pay the maintenance charge of the account. Actually, according to the new post office rules, account holders will be required to keep a minimum balance of Rs 500 in their savings account till December 11. If there is no minimum balance in the account on December 12, then the post office will charge you for maintenance.

Indian Post gave this information on Twitter on Wednesday. India Post tweeted from its official Twitter account and wrote, 'Now it is mandatory to maintain minimum balance in post office saving account'. If you do not keep minimum balance in your savings account, then you have to pay maintenance charge of Rs 100.

According to the Post Office website, the annual interest rate on the Post Office Savings Account is 4 percent. Interest is calculated on the basis of the minimum balance amount between the 10th of the month and the end of the month. So avoid the maintenance charge and keep a minimum of Rs 500 in your account.
