There is a school in Russia and it is claimed to be the coldest school in the world. In which children are coming to study even in minus degree. A video shows children dressed in warm clothes waiting for a bus to school with their eyes open. The school is located in Oimiyakon, Serbia, where children go to study in minus 51 degrees.
The school closes only when the temperature reaches minus 52 degrees or students aged 11 or under are denied access to school. So students have to come to school in freezing temperatures. The video shows a child wearing a green coat coming to school alone and having his temperature checked at the door before entering the school. Such precautions are being taken because of the corona.
This school is considered to be the coolest school for children between the ages of seven and 10. The lowest temperature recorded in the UK during school days was minus 27.2 degrees which is 24 degrees lower than the Serbian school. The school is closed to minus 56 degrees for older students.
The school was built in 1932 during Stalin's time and is for students from two villages, Khara Tumul and Burj Yurde. Local photographer Simeon Sivatsev said he shot the video at 9 a.m. Tuesday when the temperature was minus 51 degrees. "I had to wear gloves," he said. I was having a lot of trouble with the video but my hammers could be damaged if I took off the gloves.
