In our country , getting admission in IIT i.e. Indian Institutes of Technology is the dream of most science students. So how would you react if someone told you that a student from IIT had been seen begging on the street? Because a similar incident was seen in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh where an old man who had studied in IIT was begging on the road. His name is Surendra and he is said to be 90 years old.

, the old man, who had studied from IIT and was currently begging on the road, was identified by a person studying with him. “We saw Surendra in a very miserable condition near the bus stand and he spoke to us in English,” he said. They were then rescued and taken to the ashram and we tried to talk to their relatives about it.
Studying Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur
This man named Surendra, who was seen begging on the road, studied Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1969 and then studied Law in 1972. His father was a mill supplier. Which was later discontinued. Also, they are now in good health and recovering.
