Ravindra Jadeja created history by stormy innings, break MS Dhoni's 8 year old record

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja made history by playing a blistering innings in the first T20 International against Australia.
Jadeja batting at a strike rate of 191.30, scored an unbeaten 44-run knock in 23 balls with the help of 5 fours and 1 six.

Jadeja broke the 8-year-old record of former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni during this innings. Jadeja has set the record for the biggest innings by batting at seventh or below for India in the T20 International.

Earlier, this record was in the name of Dhoni, who played a 38-ball stormy innings of 18 balls in the match against England in 2012 in Mumbai.

Let us know that it was only due to Jadeja's fiery batting in the end overs that Team India reached a struggling score of 161 runs.

Jadeja had earlier played a key role in India's triumph in the third and last match of the ODI series played on this ground in Canberra. Apart from playing an unbeaten 66-run innings, he also excelled in bowling and fielding.
