Ration card will be canceled if food grains are not taken for 3 months! New guidelines will be announced

New Delhi:
Amidst the challenge of Corona virus, ration cards are being provided to those in need without any problem This is being looked into by the central government. Guidelines have now been issued to use the ration card for three months. According to which, the ration card of those who do not come for three months can be canceled by issuing guidelines by the state government. According to reports, its implementation has also started in some states of North India like Bihar, Madhya Pradesh. While the Uttar Pradesh Food Supply Department has requested a report from each district in this regard. It is learned that necessary steps will be taken in this direction.

Ration card will be canceled if food grains are not taken for 3 months?

According to various reports, the guideline has been prepared by the central government on the instructions of the states. Foodgrains are provided to poor families at reasonable prices using ration cards. But there are also some families who have not been using ration cards for a long time. In this, the government has prepared a guideline that if some families do not take food for three months, their ration cards are being canceled. It would therefore be assumed that these families are now financially viable and their ration cards may be revoked.

The Uttar Pradesh Food Supply Department has asked each district to report in this regard. It is to be noted that One Nation One Ration Card Scheme has been implemented across the country. This means that you can now get grain from wherever you live, even if you have a state ration card. If a person does not take grains for 3 months, it means that you are able to fill your stomach. So now the ration card of those people will be canceled and the benefit will be given to the other needy person.

So far no announcement has been made by the Gujarat government regarding this provision. But in view of this rule, if it is applied, there may be a wave of protest against it.
