- If you don't want to see someone's status and let you know that you've seen their status, you'll need to turn off the Read Receipts option.
- To close WhatsApp Read Receipts, you must first open the app.
- Then go to setting
- Now tap Account and then Privacy
- Here you will see the Read Receipts option, which you have to turn off.
Required Note :
- Be aware that if you turn off the Read Receipts feature, no one will notice your WhatsApp status, but some of your settings will need to be changed.
- First of all, if you send a message, the Blue Tick will stop appearing
- Then another one, if someone sends you a message they won't even see your blue tick.
