Ind vs Aus: India's defeat against Australia by 12 runs in the final T20

Despite captain Virat Kohli scoring a superb half-century, the Indian cricket team suffered a 12-run defeat in the third and final T20 match at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Tuesday.
At the same time, India lost the opportunity to whitewash Australia. India have won the three-match series 2-1. Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first. Australia were bowled out for 186 in the allotted 20 overs with the help of superb half-centuries from Matthew Wade and Glenn Maxwell. In reply, India managed to score 174 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Despite Virat Kohli scoring a half-century, he failed to give the team a victory.

India's poor start, Rahul out on the second ball

Chasing a target of 187, the Indian team had a poor start. Captain Aaron Finch got the first over from spinner Glenn Maxwell. Maxwell also justified Finch's decision by picking up the wicket on the second ball. Lokesh Rahul was out on the second ball. He could not even open an account. Shikhar Dhawan then scored 28 off 21 balls with the help of three fours. Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer also failed. Samson scored 10 while Iyer collected the pavilion on the first ball without opening the account.
