EY India, the India unit of Insert & Young Pvt. Ltd., has made an important announcement today, Thursday. According to the company, in 2021, the company will employ a total of 9000 professionals in India. All of these jobs will be for the technology roll. Which will enable the company to move to the global level of digital capability.
The recruitment will be for people with a background in science, technology, engineering or math. These people will be hired for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Analytics and other technical work. EY India currently employs about 50,000 people. The company still has 36 per cent vacancies.
Rohan Sachdev, Partner and Consulting Practice Leader, EY India, said that his company is investing heavily in technology and data. At the same time, the company is constantly trying to grow its business. "Nowadays, the company's clients are relying more on technology," he said. And EY India Company is helping them.
