Bollywood actress Amrita Rao, who gave birth to a son on November 1, is currently enjoying motherhood. Amrita Rao and her husband RJ Anmol shared a glimpse of their first child with fans and named her 'Veer'. The actress recently expressed her happiness to be the mother of Veer in an exclusive interview given to ETimes TV. While the couple has already received their precious gift just before Diwali, he also talked about how the family is going to celebrate Diwali with a new member this year.
Tell me about your experience as a mother?
The birth of a child is like a new birth for a woman. There is new learning every minute. Thank God for making me feel the best in the world.
This is your first Diwali with a baby. The first thing is always memorable, what do you have to say?
Diwali with our new member is going to be really special. The whole family is together. So for Veer, this Diwali sun will be Badjatya style. In which grandparents, great-grandparents, his fiance and aunt as well as his parents will be with him.
When will the first picture of Veer be seen?
That is the question. Anmol and I will need time to answer that.
What are your plans for Diwali this year?
This Diwali we will be at home. We are not going to send gifts to anyone and we are not going to take gifts from anyone as a precaution. We will personally greet our friends and relatives by phone. Don't even firecrackers. Diwali is a festival of lights so instead of fireworks, we should celebrate with lamps and lighting.
Want to share any of your childhood memories with fans on Diwali?
Yes there are a lot of memories. Speaking of one of these Diwali, we spent the evening on the threshold of Sushmita Sen. This is the time of 'May I not'. Farah Khan, me and Zayed Khan went to Sushmita's house. It was a lot of fun at the time. It was the perfect Diwali.
Diwali is a special dessert that you eat without hesitation?
I love chocolate and ice cream
