Samsung will launch a new app to find your lost phone without internet or network

Now you can easily find your lost Samsung Galaxy smartphone, Galaxy Watch, Tablet or Earbuds.
The company has launched an app called SmartThings Find. What is special about this app is that it helps in finding the lost Samsung Galaxy device without internet connection and mobile network. Let us know in detail about it ...

Using BLE and Ultra-Wideband Technology The
company has shared the details attached to the app, according to which SmartThings Find App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Ultra-Wideband technology to locate lost Galaxy devices. After locating the device, this app takes the user to the device located by map and sound.

Which devices and OS will work?
Samsung's app works on Galaxy smartphones and tablets running Android 8 and later OS. This is also compatible with Galaxy Watch which works on Tizen 5.5 or later OS. Galaxy Buds Plus and Galaxy Buds Live have started getting OS updates for this feature.

How long does
it take for the BLE signal to come out? The SmartThings app can then be used with this signal, which you are using to find the lost phone.

The device will ring 'ring'
Any nearby Galaxy device using this service informs the Samsung server of the location and then Samsung delivers it to the user. You can 'ring' the phone if you want to get closer to the device or even search through AR based search. What is special about it is that it is completely safe due to the encryption of the user's data.
