PM Modi wishes 'Bhai Dooj' to the Nation

 After Diwali, 'Bhai Dooj' festival is being celebrated across the country today. This festival, celebrated with pomp across the country, is known by various names. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the countrymen of the 'Bhai Dooj' festival being celebrated on Monday.

PM Modi has tweeted these wishes to the countrymen on Monday. The Prime Minister tweeted that on the auspicious occasion of Bhai Dooj, many best wishes to all of you.

Please tell that Bhai Dooj is celebrated every year on the second date of Kartik Shukla Paksha. On this day, sisters apply tilak on their foreheads, wishing for the brother's long life and prosperity, by fasting, worshiping and story etc. In return, the brother gives a gift, taking a pledge to protect them.

Along with PM Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also wished the countrymen 'Bhai Dooj'. CM Yogi tweeted that he expresses his affection, sacrifice and dedication of brother and sister and wishes you all the best for the holy festival 'Bhai-Dooj'. It is a request to Lord Rama that this festival develop fraternity and goodwill in our society.

At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also gave his best wishes. He tweeted that heartfelt greetings to all the countrymen on the holy festival of Bhaidduj.
