PM Modi gave new gift to Gujarat


New Delhi:
 PM Narendra Modi has given a new gift to Gujarat. PM Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Ropax Ferry services between Surat and Saurashtra in Gujarat through video conferencing. With the commencement of this service, the distance of 375 km of road between Ghogha and Hazira will be reduced to only 90 km through the sea.

The PM said that earlier the distance used to cover 10 to 12 hours would now take only three to four hours in that journey. During this, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was also present. Addressing the people on this occasion, the Prime Minister said, "With the introduction of Ropax service between Ghogha and Hazira today, the dream of the people of both Saurashtra and South Gujarat has been fulfilled for many years.

People's wait for years has ended. PM Modi said, the distance of road from Ghogha and Hazira to 375 km from this service will be only 90 km through the sea. That is, the distance which used to take 10 to 12 hours to cover, will now take only three-four hours in that journey. Not only will this save time, your expenses will also be reduced.

The PM said in his address, it has taken a lot of labor to develop facilities like Ropax Ferry service in Gujarat. Many difficulties have come in the way. I am grateful to all those colleagues. I thank all the engineers, who remained courageous. PM Modi said that the work related to maritime business infrastructure and capacity building is going on fast in Gujarat today.

He said that many such facilities are being built in Gujarat, Maritime Cluster in Gujarat, CNG Terminal in Gujarat Maritime University, Bhavnagar. He said that the government's effort is to restart the ferry service between Ghogha-Dowry soon. Many challenges related to nature have arisen in front of this project. Efforts are being made to overcome them through modern technology.
