The TRP of the popular TV show 'Taraq Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma' has been declining for the last few weeks and now the show has dropped out of the top 5 shows on TV. Actor Dilip Joshi, who plays Jethalal in the serial, feels that the writing of the show has been adversely affected over time. The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes.
In a conversation with stand-up comedian Saurabh Pant, actor Dilip Joshi said that when you look at quantity, quality is affected somewhere. Earlier, the writers of our show 'Taraq Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma' used to get a lot of time. Wrote 4 episodes, another 4 episodes were set to shoot next month.
Actor Dilip Joshi further said that now the writers of 'Taraq Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma' have to find a new topic every day. After all he is also a man. I believe that not all episodes can be of the same level when you are doing this show every day. When it comes to comedy, some episodes don't have that level of comedy. He said that now 'Taraq Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma' has become a factory in which writers have to write daily episodes as well as explore new topics.
