ISL 2020-21 Chennaiyin FC Beat Jamshedpur FC 2-1

ISL 2020-21 Chennaiyin FC Beat Jamshedpur FC 2-1: Two-time champions Chennai FC have made a winning start to the seventh season of the Indian Super League (ISL). He defeated Jamshedpur FC 2–1 at Tilak Maidan on Tuesday.

All three goals of this ISL match were scored in the first half. Two goals went to Chennai's account while one goal was scored by Jamshedpur. Anirudh Thapa scored the fastest goal of the season for Chennai in the first minute.

Then in the 25th minute Issac vanMalasavama dropped Lalianzuala Changte inside the box. The referee gave a penalty on this. Ismail Gonkiewes alias Isma scored on the same penalty and scored in the 26th minute to make the score 2–0 in Chennai's favor.

Nerijus Valsakis scored in the 37th minute to return to Jamshedpur. Valsakis scored this goal on a superb cross pass by Jackichand Singh. After eating the first goal, Jamshedpur made a good move in the fifth and seventh minutes but did not get success. Chennai, in turn, created a big chance in the 10th minute but Jamshedpur goalkeeper TP Rehneesh belted it.

Rehenesh also scored an attempt by Changette in the 20th minute but he could not save his team from scoring a second goal on penalty in the 26th minute. After this, there was a tough fight between the two teams to control the ball but no one got a chance to score a goal in the post.

Jamshedpur made the first change with the second half coming. Nicholas Fitzgerald came on the field in place of Jeetendra Singh while Rhenesh stopped Chennai on several occasions in the first half and the second half was the same for him. Chennai made a great attack from the left flank which was thwarted by Rhenesh.

Similarly, Rahenesh also thwarted a Chennai attack in the 58th minute. Jakub Sylvester of Chennai was dropped in the box in the 62nd minute. Penalty was demanded but was denied by the referee. Two minutes later, Jamshedpur got a great chance to score an equalizer but Stephen Edge's header went off course on a great free-kick.

A similar opportunity came in the 68th minute when the Jamshedpur team could not take advantage of Chennai goalkeeper Vishal Kaath's mistake. In response, Chennai made a good attack in the 73rd minute but Rhenesh proved to be a troubleshooter once again.

After this, Chennai made many good moves for the next 10 minutes but the Jamshedpur defense thwarted them. In injury time, Jamshedpur got a chance to equalize in this match of ISL but Valsakis could not capitalize on this opportunity.
