How To Make 'Capsicum Pudding', See Recipe

There is hardly anyone who would not like to eat pudding. People make flour, semolina, gram flour, carrot, moong dal, potato, cinnamon flour and many other types of pudding. But have you ever tried making chilli pudding? However, we are talking about capsicum halwa, not green chillies. Well it may sound a bit strange to hear. But its taste will be such that once eaten, it will be demanded again and again. So, today we know an easy recipe of making capsicum pudding.

Ingredients for making capsicum pudding: -

Capsicum - 1 desi ghee - 1 tbsp milk - 2 cups of cardamom powder - half a teaspoon of curry - 10 walnuts - 4 almonds - 7 sugar - as per taste


Method of preparation of capsicum pudding: -

1. First remove all the seeds from the capsicum and finely chop it.
2. After this wash it thoroughly 6-7 times. To remove bitterness of capsicum, wash it as many times as possible and squeeze it completely. By doing this, the bitterness of capsicum will be removed completely.
3. Now put desi ghee in a pan and heat it on low heat. After this add raisins and cardamom powder.
4. Now add finely chopped capsicum to it and leave it to cook for 5 minutes. Then add sugar and cook for 2-4 minutes.
5. After this add milk and let the halwa cook on low heat till the milk becomes thick.
6. After cooking for a while on low heat, add walnuts and almonds to it. Now your capsicum pudding is ready to serve.
