Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed deep grief over the death of Soumitra Chatterjee

 Rajyapal Jadgadeep Dhankar expressed deep grief over the death of actor Soumitra Chatterjee. The Governor tweeted that I am deeply saddened by the demise of famous actor Soumitra Chatterjee. His place is difficult to fill.

Governor Dhankar said that he was the first Indian to be honored with the Orde des Arts et des Letters, France's biggest award for artists. He was also honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.

President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and many other leaders expressed grief over the death of Soumitra Chatterjee. BJP President JP Nadda also expressed grief over the death of Soumitra Chatterjee.

JP Nadda tweeted that Soumitra Chatterjee's acting will continue to inspire the younger generation. He said that the sadness of the famous Bengali artist Soumitra Chatterjee was deeply traumatized.

He has a long and outstanding career and during this time he won several awards for acting. He will continue to inspire the younger generation. My condolences to his family and fans. om Shanti.

It may be noted that after Saumitra Chatterjee was hospitalized for 40 days, doctors could not save her. On Sunday, he breathed his last at 12.15 pm at Bellevue Hospital.

For the last few days, the team of doctors was engaged in the last attempt to save them. Soumitra Chatterjee was placed on the life support system for the past several days. He was not responding in any way.

It is noteworthy that Soumitra Chatterjee was admitted to the hospital on 6 October after being hit by the corona virus. On 14 October, he was found to be corona negative. But during this time he was not discharged from the hospital due to other health problems. He was struggling with all health related problems.
