Donald Trump acknowledged Biden's 'victory' for the first time

US President Donald Trump seems to have accepted Biden's victory for the first time on Sunday. However, he made it clear that he had not lost anything and that he would continue his efforts to change the outcome of the election. Donald Trump's statement came via Twitter and included baseless claims about the November 3 vote.

Trump tweeted that Biden had won. He had never admitted this in public before. However he acknowledged that their numbers were not enough to defeat Biden's government. Biden received 270 electoral votes, winning in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. With this he defeated Trump.

Donald Trump had earlier refused to accept the election results and he reiterated on Sunday that he had lost nothing. We still have a long way to go. However, while acknowledging Biden's victory, he argued without any evidence that the former vice president had won simply because the election had been rigged.

The election was not rigged in any way. In fact, election officials from both parties said publicly that the election was fair and that international observers said there were no irregularities. Trump’s campaign legally challenged the results in many countries but many cases were rejected.

Trump hasn't admitted defeat from the start, but in recent days he seems to be slowly admitting it. Speaking at the Rose Garden on Friday about the corona virus vaccine, Trump said his administration would not announce a lockdown. If anything happens in the future, who knows what the administration will be like? I think only time will tell.
