Brighten up your home this Diwali with eco friendly lamps made of cow dung

New Delhi.
Until Diwali illuminates the house with lamps, something seems incomplete, with clay lamps, you must have always decorated your Diwali house, but this time you are getting dung lamps made in the market. Such diyas of different colors are being seen in the market for the first time. All these diyas are being made from cow dung and the cow dung is being taken from the gaushalas of Jaipur, Bhilwara, Sridungargarh to make the diyas. In Jaipur, women associated with the Hainiman Charitable Mission Society are being built at the Sunrise Organic Park at Sripineerapol Goshala. Before making diyas, women worked in medicinal farming in the organic park.

Women are making not only diyas but many artistic things besides Lakshmi-Ganesh idol. Which are completely eco friendly, due to which all these products are in demand not only in Rajasthan but in the country. Dung is first collected to make cow dung lamps. After this, one kg of premix and two and a half kg of dung powder is added. After which it is filtered like wet clay and then it is well kneaded. After this, jata masi, yellow mustard, tree bark, aloe vera, fenugreek seeds, tamarind seeds are added for purification.

40 percent fresh cow dung and 60 percent fresh dung is added to make diyas. About four beautiful diyas are prepared in a minute. Which are then kept in the sun for two days and then decorated with colors. 20 women are making about 5000 diyas daily. For this, every woman is getting Rs 350 daily. If we talk about the rate of diyas then the wholesale rate of 100 diyas is 250 rupees. By burning these lamps, the scent of Havan will be felt in the house. Later, it can also be used as organic manure. This lamp is completely eco friendly, so there is no harm to the environment.
