Auto companies benefited in Navratri, which company sold how many vehicles?

 Retail sales of companies like Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai and Tata Motors have been very good during Navratri this year. These auto companies say their sales have soared this year due to suppressed demand during the last few months during Navratri. During the 10 days of Navratri (including Dussehra), sales of Kia Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Mahindra & Mahindra and Honda Cars have been good.

The purchase of new goods and property is considered auspicious in Navratri. Maruti, the country's largest car maker, saw its sales rise by 27% to 96,700 units on Navratri. Speaking on behalf of Maruti Suzuki, Shashank Srivastava said that Maruti cars sold 76,000 units during Navratri last year. Thus, Hyundai Motor India's retail sales increased by 28% to 26,068 units during Navratri this year. Tata Motors' sales rose 90% to 10,887 units from 5,725 units in the year-ago period. The company sold 6,641 utility vehicles and 4,246 vehicles during the period.

During these 10 days of Navratri, Kia Motors' sales increased by 224% to 11,640 units. Sales of Toyota Kirloskar Motor have also picked up. Talking about this, Naveen Sony of Toyota Kirloskar Motors said that our sales during Navratri stood at 5,000 units which is about 13% more than last year. While Vijay Nakra from Mahindra & Mahindra said that our bookings in the SUV range have increased by 41% this year in Navratri. Our sales this year were 20% higher than last year. Honda Cars India said its retail sales have increased by 10% during Navratri.
