WhatsApp has finally rolled out a very useful feature 'Always Mute'. This feature has been tested for a long time, but now it has finally rolled out for WhatsApp users. WhatsApp itself shared this information on Twitter. Earlier this feature was seen in beta version of WhatsApp 2.20.201.10 for Android . However now this feature will be seen in all versions. Allows you to mute any chat and group chat permanently.
WhatsApp informed through its official Twitter handle that now users can 'mute' a particular chat permanently. The company has replaced the previously available feature 'One Year' with 'Always Mute'. Earlier you were given the option of 8 hours, 1 week and 1 year to mute the chat. But with the new feature, replacing the existing 1-year option, the always muted option has been added. After this change, users can permanently mute the message of any person or group that is bothering you.
WhatsApp, on the other hand, is coming soon with voice and video call support on its web version. On which testing work is underway. Currently only messaging feature is available on WhatsApp web.
