antivirus firm Avast security team shared this information, and it is them that have been asked many apps in the official Google Play Store. Which installs a lot of adware in users' phones. A total of 21 adware applications targeting Android users have been found and three of them have been removed from the Play Store by Google. However, Avast has said that 19 apps are being investigated and are still present for users on the Play Store.

It is learned that such apps are very popular and have been downloaded more than 8 million times so far. Once these apps are downloaded, HiddenAds Trojan starts showing many ads even when the original app is closed. These ads range from notifications to full screen ads.

It also hides its own icon after downloading dangerous apps. So that it cannot be easily deleted. Jakub Warwa, a threat analyst at Avast, said such apps are being promoted on social media channels, messaging apps and even YouTube.
