The passenger claimed to be a terrorist in flight, created an uproar


Panaji: On
 Thursday, a passenger on Air India's Delhi-Goa flight started claiming to be a terrorist. This claim of passenger caused a panic in the flight.

As soon as the flight landed at the airport, the police arrested the rumored passenger. An official from Dabolim Airport Police Station informed that the 30-year-old passenger Zia-ul-Haq, described as mentally unwell, was arrested after the flight landed.

The officer said that the accused claimed himself to be an officer of the special cell and told the passengers that a terrorist was present in the aircraft. Hearing of Zia-ul-Haq, the entire flight was disturbed. Other passengers on the flight were horrified at the fact that the terrorists were present.

The investigation confirmed no terrorists. After which the police arrested the accused as soon as the flight landed at the airport. Police have informed that he was examined in a government hospital and later after receiving necessary orders from a local magistrate, he was admitted to the Institute of Psychology and Human Behavior, located near Panaji. After examining the doctor, he has said that he is mentally unwell.
