The body of Ram Vilas Paswan was brought to his residence at Janpath

 Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan died on Thursday in a hospital in Delhi. Paswan was ill for the past several days. He recently had heart surgery. The body of Ram Vilas Paswan was taken to his residence at 12 Janpath at 10 am today for his last visit.

People are reaching there to pay tribute to this beloved leader. After the final darshan of the people, his body will be taken to Patna at 2 pm for darshan. His body will be kept in the Lok Janshakti Party office there. His fans will be able to offer him Shraddha Suman there too.

He will be cremated in Patna on Saturday morning of October 10. A state mourning has been announced today in his honor on the demise of Ram Vilas Paswan. During this time the national flag will be half tilted today. On Thursday, the Union Home Ministry announced late night that in honor of Ram Vilas Paswan's death, the tricolor would be half-tilted in the capitals of Delhi, all states and union territories on Friday.

RJD President Lalu Prasad mourned the death of Union Minister Ram Vilas on Twitter. He said that I am very sorry to hear the sad news of untimely demise of Ram Vilas Bhai. The unbroken relationship of the past 45 years and all the social, political battles fought with them are floating in front of the eyes.



Lalu Yadav said, Ram Vilas brother, you left early. I am not in a position to say anything more than this. As soon as news of Paswan's demise came to light, there were reactions from all politicians and social workers. PM Modi shared his grief and tweeted, "I am sad beyond words. There is a void in our nation that will probably never fill.

The demise of Ram Vilas Paswan ji is a personal loss. I have lost a friend, valuable colleague and one who was very keen to ensure the dignified life of every poor person. PM Modi has also shared a picture in his tweet in which he is seen shaking hands with Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan.
