Srinagar: PDP chief and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has made a very embarrassing statement. During a press conference, she has said that she will not lift the flag in her hand until the J&K flag is in her hand.
Mehbooba Mufti, pointing to the flag of Jammu and Kashmir placed on the table, said that when this flag comes back, we will also lift that flag (tricolor). We will not raise any other flag till we get our flag back.
This flag was waved in Kashmir until Section 370 was lifted. Mehbooba Mufti said that we are not interested in contesting elections till the Central Government returns the Article 370 of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that his struggle would continue till the restoration of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
PDP President Mehbooba Mufti was released on Tuesday after 14 months of detention. Explain that on 5 August last year, the Modi government announced the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and divided the state into two union territories Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh.
The PDP and the National Conference are opposing the decision. Recently Farooq Abdullah also demanded re-enactment of Article 370. He had said, our fight will continue. Whether Farooq Abdullah remains alive or not. Whether on stage or not. The fight to restore Article 370 will continue. Even if I am hanged.
