No investigation has been started by CBI in Hathras case yet? Questions are arising

Lucknow
Hathras scandal ( Hathras the Case ) to investigate Is the CBI (not that Central Beauro of Investigation), has doubts about it. It has been 5 days since the proposal was sent by the UP Govt . However, no reply has been received from the CBI so far. The lack of response from the CBI in this case has raised a lot of questions.

Despite sending the proposal, no FIR has been registered in the case by the CBI and no documents related to the incident have been seized by the CBI from the local police. However, senior sources in the administration said they were waiting for the steps to be taken by the CBI. The petition filed in the Hathras scandal is scheduled to be heard in the Supreme Court on October 12.

The SIT has also been formed. The

first three members of the SIT were formed in connection with the Hathras scandal. Based on the preliminary report of the SIT, 5 policemen, including the then SP of Hathras, were suspended. On Saturday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sent Chief Secretary and DGP to visit the spot.

The UP government recommended to the CBI that the

victim's family send the two officers sent by the Chief Minister to the CBI for an inquiry into the incident, on the basis of which the Chief Minister initiated an inquiry with the CBI on the same day. Chief Secretary Home Avanish Kumar Awasthi said that all the formalities related to the CBI probe were completed on that day.

Ongoing investigation by SIT

On the one hand, even after 5 days, the SIT did not respond to the inquiry. On the other hand, the state government's decision to give SIT 10 more days to investigate the matter has created more curiosity. The SIT on Thursday issued notices against 40 people in the victim's village, called Hathras police lines for questioning and recorded their statements. It also includes people from the village who were working on their farms around the site at the time of the incident or at the time of the funeral.
