Early days in Mumbai

The symbol that many people meet every day finally met Manoj Shah, who had done a lot of work in Gujarati theater one day. Ever since then he has seen a ray of hope in the midst of conflict. He also started doing a lot of experimental work in the theater with them. The work and the audience were less, but the satisfaction of the work was 110 percent. Pratik's engineering degree also helped him a lot to survive in Mumbai in the early days. He worked in corporates for 15 years, and also continued to do theater and films with her. Eventually in 2016 he said goodbye to his job forever and became a full time actor.

Struggled for 12 years to buy a house in Mumbai

Prateek also spoke openly about the challenges he faced in Mumbai. He said he bought a house in Mumbai and wanted to call his family here. Both he and his brother were struggling for work. Often they even had to change houses every month. Married in 2008, and the situation became more contentious. After working day and night for 10-12 years, Pratik's dream of buying his own house in Mumbai came true.

Going to rehearsal at 5.30 in the morning

Symbol, who also has a passion for theater with his job, says that it was not easy to do plays with a full-time job. Because, in the workplace, no one cares what you do outside, and how much you struggle for it. However, in order to bring both ends together, he had to give 200 per cent of his energy and 100 per cent to drama and job. He would arrive at 5.30 in the morning for rehearsals for the play, and would rehearse for two hours and travel for an hour and a half to get to work.

Family time is also a victim

Prateek also said that he has sacrificed family time to fulfill his passion for acting. "I will always be grateful to my family for their support," he said. Mentioning one of the things his father said, Prateek said that he always said, "Money will come in handy, you have to take a little more risk. There will be a small house, there will be a small car, but with it you will be able to live your life happily."

First audition experience

Talking about this, Pratik said that when he went to audition for the first time, he felt that he had come to the wrong place. Most people had a height of 6 feet, muscles and fair skin. He used to talk big about himself and tell where he has played the lead role. Others were so experienced and confident that seeing them, Pratik felt that he would not be able to do this. However, then he realized that some people saw him everywhere, they were talking the same thing.

Talking about his love story with Bhamini, Pratik said that he first saw Bhamini in 2006 when he was performing at the Prithvi Theater. Prateek was asked to do acrobatics in the center of the stage and when Bhamini stood in the second line, Prateek decided to get acquainted with her as soon as he saw her. The two had a common friend, and it was through him that Pratik approached Bhamini. It took him a year and a half to go on a coffee date with Bhamini, says Pratik. When they went for coffee together for the first time in two and a half years, they both realized that they did not like coffee, said Pratik with a smile.

Don’t be afraid of challenges

Saying that one should never be afraid of challenges, Pratik says that whether it is career or personal life, he has never wavered in the face of any challenge. Responding to challenges, the symbol says accept what is in the world, and that will give you the strength to fight. He also believes that everything we do in life is done out of love or fear. If you keep doing something out of fear, one day you will fall into depression, and if you do the same thing with love or passion, depression will never overwhelm you.

I grew up on stage: Symbol

Talking about his passion for acting since childhood, Prateek said that he has been participating in plays since he was in school. Whenever he came on stage, he felt that he was created for the stage. All he has to say is that he grew up on stage and loves to play with words as well as language. Prateek has also acted in several Gujarati and Hindi films. About which Prateek said that Gujarati films have some limitations, while Bollywood is much bigger than that and its audience is also very wide. However, he has worked in both industries with the same passion.
