KXIPvsRR: Chris Gayle's 99-run innings goes to waste, Rajasthan win by 7 wickets


The 50th match of the 13th season of IPL was played between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). 
In which Rajasthan won the toss and elected to bowl. Batting first, Punjab lost 4 wickets and scored 185 runs. Chasing the target, Rajasthan won the match by 186 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in just 17.3 overs. Ben Stoke (50) and Sanju Sams (48) from Rajasthan were instrumental in the team's victory.

Chasing a target of 186, Robin Uthappa and Ben Stokes landed in the opening over from Rajasthan. The opening pair formed a 60-run partnership. In 6 overs, Ben Stokes scored 50 off just 26 balls and was bowled by Chris Jord. Sanju Samson (48) and Robin Uthappa (30) were then dismissed. While Steve Smith was unbeaten on 31 off 20 balls and Jose Butler was unbeaten on 22 (11), losing 3 wickets in just 17.3 overs, Rajasthan won the match by 186 runs.
